My name is Gabrielle Rose, and I am the founder of Zaofitness.

Zao is the Greek word for Life, Growth and Vitality, and the symbol is the Ancient Greek symbol for Power. Zaofitness is about the power of the body, the mind and also the power of positive thinking.

I am a busy wife and mother of 3 children – aged 10, 9 and 7. I love my sport and exercise and have incorporated it into my daily life for myself, my family and friends. As an elite athlete for the past 20 years (having represented Australia in the sports of Touch and Oztag) I know the physical demands required to compete at the top level of your sport.

As a working mum, housewife and business owner, I understand the time constraints surrounding having a regular exercise routine and the demands running a family places on your body.

And as a PE Teacher, Personal Trainer and Sports Coach, I understand children and the importance of exercise in their lives, but also the need for it to be fun and provide them with a positive learning environment.
